The Owl's Nest is a blog dedicated to covering every angle of Temple University Athletics. Through videos, blogs, photos, and more, T.O.N hopes to bring Temple fans the most informative and intriguing sports updates on the internet. Started in late 2008 by Owlified, the blog mainly focused on Owls' basketball. In early 2009, the site grew into covering football as well. Through most of the year the site had gone through many updates and upgrades to enhance the quality of information being generated. In 2010, The Owl's Nest made its next biggest expansion by bringing Kent Manno onto the staff. Since then, T.O.N has brought Temple University Athletics fans the latest on basketball, football, and baseball. We hope that we can continue to better the site as we move forward!
Owlified (Editor/Writer) - Dave Gerson "Owlified" has been an avid Temple sports fan for as long as he can remember. As a baby, his dad would take him to all the home football and basketball games (Franklin Field, Veterans Stadium, Lincoln Financial Field, McGonigle Hall, The Palestra, The Liacouras Center). Starting in his early teens, Dave began his coverage of Owls sports by creating a YouTube channel known as "Owlified". He covers both Temple basketball and football on the site, and continues to attend Temple basketball and football home games. In hopes of pursing one of his loves for writing, he began The Owls' Nest. He balances school, athletics, and his social life to bring the latest on Temple athletics.
Currently a high school student/athlete, he hopes to continue his education in the next few years by enrolling at Temple University.
